Catia Céméus
CEO and founder of Kimdja
Entrepreneur, trainer, and philanthropist, Catia Céméus has been a key player in the event industry for over 10 years in Canada. As the head of Kimdja, she leads impactful projects for bilingual businesses and organizations across the country.
Her expertise, strategic vision, and business acumen have earned her several distinctions, including the 2019 Futur Templier Award from the Regroupement des gens d’affaires (RGA) and a nomination as Citizen of the Year at the prestigious Bernard GrandMaître Awards.
Catia is a regular columnist, sharing her perspective on diversity in entrepreneurship on the show Le retour avec Michel Picard (Unique FM), and discussing her event expertise on Nat en Parle (TV Rogers Ottawa).
She is deeply committed to supporting Black Francophone women and girls in Canada. As former president of the Regroupement Affaires Femmes, she contributed to promoting this unique intergenerational network founded by and for Black Franco-Canadian women.

Ashley Sheridan
Event Coordinator
Creative, passionate, and determined, Ashley Sheridan embodies the energy and precision required to make an event a success. In 2018, she decided to turn her qualities into professional skills by pursuing studies in event planning and management at Collège LaSalle.
Always eager to learn and driven by a desire to stand out with innovative approaches, she joined Kimdja in 2019. Since then, she has contributed to a wide range of events, honing her skills and playing an active role in the agency’s success.
Ashley brings fresh perspectives, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail to every project. Her creativity and commitment make her a valuable ally in delivering memorable experiences that reflect our clients’ vision.

Mégane Soukpo
Communications officer
Thorough, committed, and creative, Mégane Soukpo combines strategic expertise with a passion for communications. A graduate in public relations from La Cité
Collégiale and holding a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Ottawa, she masters the challenges of digital communications, public relations, and brand positioning.
Before joining Kimdja, Mégane applied her talents at the Regroupement Affaires Femmes (RAF), where she led impactful visibility campaigns while producing authentic and strategic content.
Her experience has sharpened her ability to communicate effectively, amplify local initiatives, and engage communities around strong values. At Kimdja, she plays a key role in event communication, ensuring the consistency and reach of messages before, during, and after events.
Always attentive and innovative, Mégane also contributes to several internal projects, strengthening the team’s excellence through her versatility and strategic vision.

Marie-Claire Moraine
Event project manager
With 20 years of experience in event planning, tourism, and public relations, Marie-Claire Moraine embodies rigor, creativity, and commitment. Holding a Master’s degree in cultural business management, she has spent over 10 years as an event project manager, successfully executing various projects in public, private, corporate, artistic, and community settings.
Arriving in Quebec in 2005, Marie-Claire stands out for her ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution. A true conductor, she structures, coordinates, and brings each project to life with great precision and attention to detail.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a deep respect for cultures, she has lived in several countries and in Nunavik, where she engaged in Indigenous, artistic, and community-based projects. Her passion for cultural diversity, the arts, and human connections enriches her approach, which is sensitive and inclusive.
At Kimdja, Marie-Claire is a calm force, both a strategist and a doer, who drives projects forward with heart, method, and determination.

Kim Gagnon
Event coordinator
Determined, meticulous, and resourceful, Kim Gagnon is distinguished by her full commitment to everything she undertakes. Driven by a constant desire to learn and improve, she is always pushing her limits and expanding her skillset in the event planning field.
A graduate in wedding coordination from PCDI Canada (Ashworth College) in 2018, Kim combines her specialized training with over 12 years of customer service experience, a valuable asset in creating unique and human experiences.
Throughout her career, she has worked with a wide range of people and organizations, evolving in diverse environments that have shaped her professionalism and adaptability.
Her 2024 partnership with Kimdja marked a turning point in her career—an alliance based on shared values and a passion for organizing impactful corporate events.
At Kimdja, Kim does everything she can to turn each project into a magical moment, combining efficiency, creativity, and attention to detail.

Annick Archambault
Business Development Manager
A resident of the National Capital Region for over 25 years, Annick Archambault brings nearly 20 years of experience within the federal public service in management, human resources, and public policy development. She has also worked as a political attaché, developing strong expertise in strategic communications and the coordination of large-scale initiatives.
Today, as Business Development Manager at Kimdja, she stands out for her collaborative leadership, rigor, and ability to turn vision into concrete projects. Her mandate is to build lasting business relationships and generate opportunities aligned with Kimdja’s strategic planning, helping position the company as a leading provider of large-scale corporate event management.

Jamila Ketwan
Director of Operations
Jamila is a bilingual (FR/EN) manager with strong experience in operations management, team leadership, and strategic project coordination.
Her background includes roles in economic development, event management, and financial analysis, giving her versatile expertise in strategic planning, contract management, and team mobilization.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a diploma in hospitality management, along with several certifications in leadership, human resources, and organizational innovation. Recognized for her ability to engage teams and her rigor, she supports organizations in achieving their objectives and continuously improving their performance.
She joined Kimdja in February 2026 as Director of Operations.

Hamza Bensaad
Event Project Manager
Hamza brings over 13 years of experience in project management and event planning, along with several years of entrepreneurship in marketing and communications. PMP® certified, he is proficient in Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies, enabling him to effectively manage complex projects.
Today a Project Manager at Kimdja, he stands out for his rigor, leadership, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. He contributes to the successful delivery of structured, high-performing projects by ensuring efficient execution and a high-quality client experience.
